Summer versions sometimes seem to adjust themselves to the hit and the slow pace of things… Still, we continued our work on the Two-way integration process for the bug trackers, with more trackers included for defect status updates and an easy way to get custom fields values from the tracker to Testuff.

Testuff 1.44 focused on those tracker integration improvements, however it wasn’t limited to that. We’ve also completed the new design of the Tests tab, improving its performance for those with the high volume of tests in their suites.

So What’s New?

  • Bug trackers improvements:
    • Redmine:
      • Defects synchronization now supported
      • Get your Redmine defects status to Testuff with one click
    • Rally:
      • API version upgraded
      • Add your custom fields to the bug reporter
      • Defects synchronization now supported
  • Last tester added to assign options in requirements
  • Tests screen new design for better performance

Tips of the month:

  1. Use the same defect status values as in your tracker for better follow up and synchronization with your developers.
  2. Show your colleauges, using the tracker, the link they have on a defect with which they can close defects in Testuff. For some of the tracker you can synchronize the defects status directly from Testuff.
