TEL AVIV, Israel, May 13 – The Israeli Association of Grid Technologies (IGT) has selected Testuff as one of the 20 most promising start-ups in the cloud, grid, virtualization and SaaS (Software as a Service) models.
Testuff is developing a brand new service, targeting the software testing industry, which according to the company will “change the way companies perform their testing”. The new service will enable companies to dramatically reduce the time required for testing, cut costs and at the same time improve the quality of their QA processes.
Testuff will present its vision at the “IGT Cloud Summit for Virtualization and Cloud/SaaS Based start-ups” on June 1st 2009, in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Gil Bloom, Business Development & Marketing manager at Testuff, says: “Testuff is happy to be recognized by experts from the SaaS industry as one of the most promising start-ups. We believe that the world-wide software testing industry will be able to start using the new service in a only a few months”. According to Bloom, Testuff is now in discussions with a number of investors to secure funding for its development and marketing initiatives.
On Q4 2008, Testuff has launched an on-demand software test management tool. Despite the short time since launch, the SaaS based tool is already in use by over 2,200 companies from countries spread across 4 continents. The company sees this service as a first step of validating its technology and creating an initial customer base. It is now preparing to fulfill its long term vision.
