User Management
What is the user hierarchy in Testuff?
Currently the user hierarchy is flat. All users in your Testuff DB have full permissions. We feel that this promotes openness and cooperation in the QA team, and assume that you hired people that you trust to begin with.
Nonetheless, we may add simple user hierarchy in the future. What we plan to add is a class of "test runners" who will only be able to run tests they are assigned and see or do nothing else.
How do I add more testers to my Testuff account?
- Go to the Testuff home screen via the house icon at the top of the window.
- Click the Add a tester link on the top right.
- Input the tester's name and email.
- An email will be sent to the tester with login information, including a generated password. Make sure the email didn't end up in the junk or spam folder, and if so please mark it as not spam.
- The new tester may now login to the Testuff account.
- It's highly recommended to change the password immediately via the Settings link at the top right of the window.
- The new tester may set himself a pic by going to the Testuff home screen and clicking the Edit link where his or her username appears.
