What is the user hierarchy in Testuff?

There are three types of users in Testuff:

  • Admin has full access to all areas, menus and options. Admins manage the account settings, add and remove testers, and manage the permissions on Testuff for all other users.
  • QA Leader has full access within the projects they are assigned to, but cannot change account settings.
  • Tester can only run tests that were assigned to them.

The permissions are set by an Admin using the Manage testers settings window.

How do I add testers to Testuff?

Writing tests using the test editor
  1. Go to the Testuff home screen via the home icon on the top of the window.
  2. Click the Manage testers link on the top right, and then click Add Tester
  3. Enter the tester's name and email.
  4. An email will be sent to the tester with login information, including a generated password. Make sure the email didn't end up in the junk or spam folder. Please add testuff.com domain name to your whitelist to ensure delivery.
  5. The new tester may now login to the Testuff account.
    • It's highly recommended to change the password immediately via the Settings link on the top right of the window.
    • The new tester may set their image by going to the Testuff home screen and clicking the Settings link.

How do I change my password?

  1. Click the Settings link on the top right of the Testuff window.
  2. Go to the User Details tab.
  3. Click the Change password link.
  4. Input your old and new passwords.
  5. Click OK to confirm the password change.

How do I change my photo?

  1. Click the Settings link on the top right of the Testuff window.
  2. Go to the User Details tab.
  3. Click the change link under the photo on the right.
  4. Choose an image of your liking and click open.

How can I delete testers?

  1. Go to the Testuff home screen via the home icon on the top of the window.
  2. Click the Manage testers .
  3. Click Delete tester for the tester you wish to delete, on the right end of the window.

I need more testers than my account permits. What should I do?
