Testuff with Email

How does Testuff integrate with Email?

Although we highly recommend using a bug tracker to manage your tickets, Testuff can also work without one. To keep track of defects Testuff can automatically send them by email. You can run your manual tests using Testuff and export bugs to a selected email address.

How do I configure it?

Email configuration
  1. In Testuff, go to Settings > Bug Tracker.
  2. Choose Email from the bug trackers combo box.
  3. Enter the desired email address to which defects should be sent in the Send To field.
    Note - support for sending bug emails to multiple recipients is coming soon! In the meantime please setup a mailing list with the desired addresses and use the mailing list address in Testuff.
  4. You may click the Create a sample bug report link to make sure Testuff sends bug reports to the relevant emails. If all goes well a new bug report should wait in the inbox.
  5. Don't forget to click OK to save the settings.
