Just don't shoot yourselves in the foot over something as trivial as icons.

Having a philosophy is all well and good and I'm all for sticking to your guns as far as how the application works and not getting driven in a direction you don't want to go when it comes to functionality and features.

It just seems to me that icons are not that important in the whole scheme of things and if its something that is potentially going to cost you sales, then you should be flexible and it least provide a 'Corporate' style scheme for the "suits". :)

Cheers!

I like the high-minded sentiment but I'm ambivalent about the icons themselves, except for the monkey which I like a lot. What would be cool is to have a few themes to select from, or to be able to use your own custom icons just like you can select an image for your profile. I might create a Samurai Jack theme, for example. Defects would be represented by Aku, Labs by one of the talking dogs, overview by Jack himself, or some such thing. That's my feature request. The difference, of course, is that every account would be customizable, where your profile image appears the same for everybody.

I have just read your reply and felt compelled to add my bit!

I must admit that when I first used TestStuff I felt like I was using something that was 'un professional', but hey, I love it now! I couldn't give two 'monkeys' what other people say about making your product look professional.

As Brain says, What's professional anyways?

Keep up the great work, love your GUI!!
